The 'Late Nite With Ed Moore III' show focused on improving the quality of life for men during the night of September 21 with the help from a panel of eight men ranging from different ages, family and professional backgrounds as well as socioeconomic statuses. These eight men, now dubbed by Ed as "The Elite Eight", expressed their struggles as men living in the 21st century, including their comprehensions behind methods of interactions with women, the ever-changing roles of men in regards to the workforce, their maturing in attire as men and the ideas of what is considered a man in the year 2012. The night surfaced emotional moments for all the men during the program. Some told stories of fatherless childhoods, their desires to fit in with the dominant male culture and difficulties trying to find themselves in a society outnumbered by countless ideologies of what exactly makes the man. The show mirrored the program's February edition of "Female Empowerment: Women In America," when the same struggles and strides were analyzed amongst several women. Ed told sources later on that this show received a large response of praise from the social media world. He says listeners as far as South Africa flooded the Facebook and Twitter sites throughout the night and into the next morning with messages to him and the panel of guests, thanking them for their efforts in attempting to better the male community.
